Asro Kamal Rokan - writer and also editor of the newspaper that is still me make my required reading before the work in the morning - never written in newspaper Republika , the rubric " Resonance " , titled "Return to the Voice of the Heart " ( Reuters , Wednesday , 18 November 2009 ) . And , in my reading , there is nothing extraordinary in his writing except for one thing : " reminder to all readers ( and himself ) to be true to yourself " .

Among the contents of his writing , quoting Surah ash- Shams , 91 : 9-10 , he said : " Indonesia sooty sky . Webbed soot in souls that will be eliminated when it was raining . Rain is a clean heart in seeing the issue . So , God inspires the soul it ( the road ) wickedness and piety . Truly successful who purifies the soul and actually lost people who pollute . "

Not only mas Asro Kamal Rohan are concerned to see the acrobatics of our leaders . All those who still have a conscience will be furious watching the show ' lie ' is packed with beautiful words " rhetoric ostrich " it . " Naive " , said one of my friends who happen to be together watching the dialogue between friends COMPACT with Commission III of the House of Representatives . Where is their conscience ? My friend said , when commenting on the rhetoric of our elected representatives .

Indeed, when some interest in becoming " too overlooked " , such as the representatives of the people buying and group self-interest , conscience can suddenly ' died ' . Heart be frozen , as if powerless to reach the Divine nur - among others - the ability to say " honest "
As with mBah Minah , a frail woman who was helpless against legal tyranny under rulers complaint " cocoa plantations " , PT Sari Antan Cluster IV , which has a very wide area , not less than 200 ha , which maybe he mastered it with the land how ' certain ' , as is usually done by the rich : " mezalimi anyone can wronged . Everything can happen because of - mainly - I see this is a symbol mBah Minah helpless man , when faced with a more laud judicial practice " legal certainty " , with reference to the articles of the

Criminal Code , without having to look at the values that go far beyond the texts the existing legislation of the article , namely : " the main kemashlahatan targeted by all the provisions of the law , in the form of " justice " for anyone. Supposedly , the name of justice the judge can make the decision that is not exactly the same as the text sound legislation . A decision was " wise " to mBah Minah who is should dibelaskasihani , without having mengakhianati mandate legislation .

I imagine , how the conscience when the police officer must arrest mBah Minah , elderly people who are powerless it is just a symbol that they have fulfilled their obligations . They have been performing their duties and functions to serve the community . People who can appeal to the police for duty carry pack oarng alleged guilt : " mBah Minah " , which can not be brave fight and defend themselves .

Mbah Minah is a symbol of man who would not powerless to fight anyone , let alone have to deal with employers who had everything to beg anyone willing to do for their own sake . Mbah Minah helpless , eventually have to deal with the legal scholars in the judiciary which is sometimes also not ( be ) powerless when faced with tough powers untouched by any judicial body .

Powerlessness of the poor , such as Mbah Minah , and also poor people in this country in the face of powers superpower , it has been shown by mBah Minah , who are honest with ourselves and the people who made
him helpless . He lay in a prison sentence of 1.5 months , with a 3 -month trial period , with tears representing the dhu'afa ' and mustadh'afin , weak and helpless oppressed by the system and culture " texts " that flows into a legal decision , minus insights " ethical " .

Seeing Minah mBah case , I conclude that Mas Asro Kamal Rohan " true " , that honesty is commendable trait that we find now increasingly rare . Including - in it - honest to God , in addition to honesty towards others and yourself . Because honestly it sometimes bitter . Such cues Prophet s.a.w. in one of his saying :

" ... Let's say all right , though it is bitter ... " ( Hadith al - Bayhaqi history of Abu Dhar al - Ghiffari , Syu'ab al - Iman , VII/21 )

Honesty is there in words and actions . A worshiper with attitude riya ' is not said to be an honest man because he has revealed something different from what he had hidden . A hypocrite is not said to be an honest man because he showed himself as a man of faith , but there is no faith in him . Honesty is a trait of a believer who is always willing to show something to be revealed , although it must face a number of risks . While lie is the nature of hypocrites who always hide something that seemed right . And second phenomenon is that more we see in our beloved country . Too many numbers of people who are in the congregation " liar " , and too few people who dare to be part of the congregation " honest man " .

Referring to the teachings of our Prophet ( Muhammad SAW ) , he always encourages his people to be " honest " in all things , because - in his view - honesty is the capital for anyone to build themselves into human morality . As his saying :

" ... Verily honesty leads to virtue ... " ( Reported by Muslim Hadith from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud , Saheeh Muslim , VIII/29 )

When sorting honesty , the scholars stated that the variance of honesty can we aggregated into 5 ( five ) kinds : First, the " honest intentions " , which eventually led to a sincere attitude . Second , " truthful in speech " . Say that there is right and wrong is wrong . Third , " the honest determination " , which implies a lack of commitment to anything that is believed to be true and good . Fourth , " honest in deed " . What does outwardly is what is in the inner attitude , which one will have the high integrity " . Fifth , " Honestly in diversity . That is what he is performing the ritual activities is what the knowledge and conviction , until someone actually have a high appreciation for all deeds in the religion . Shown by conscience to do good works with a solid foundation of faith , which in turn will establish piety on him .

The implementation of the idea of " honesty " is not necessarily going to be realized in each individual . It takes hard work , intelligent and sincere . Because , a person may not reach this honest attitude in terms of intrinsic , except after the process of joining the struggle with the realities of life . Value honesty will always win in any challenge in life when a person has been trained to " honest " in all honesty in a variety of coherence ( intention , speech , determination , and religious deeds ) .

Each variety has the honesty and the end result on their own . Sometimes fast and sometimes slow the process. And the results are sometimes weak and sometimes strong for each individual , wherever and whenever he is . By the time a person has the power to proceed with all the challenges it faces , then she will reap powerful results .

He will be the one " honest " and enjoy his honesty . But the fact is not always ideal . Sometimes in certain circumstances a person may proceed quickly to be " honest " , but in other conditions is precisely the opposite . A wealthy will experience significant difficulties to be " honest " , because of its internal and external constraints that hinder all that strong .

Mbah Minah is just an example the case . In a different time and space is still expected to appear mBah Minah Minah - mBah else could embarrass our leaders who - for a while - still hiding his conscience . Unable to be honest , for fear of the risk of the decision.
Mbah Minah wisdom teaches us that the essence of honesty in this regard is the twist of fate that has been connected with the Creator ( God ) . He will be up to him , so the return will be obtained in the world and the hereafter . God will look carefully at each of those who do good and - vice versa - see also ( carefully ) those who do wrong .

Learning from case mBah Minah , I conclude that honesty is indeed very expensive . However , as expensive as anything else that honesty , we must memerjualbelikannya in this reality until the last drop of blood limit . And the key word is " back on our conscience " , we will dare to risk anything over honesty that we have chosen .

Well , this time I 'm ' examine ' case " Anas Urbaningrum " who was at the Commission . The question that is always there in my bena : " Can we make the judiciary itself as a place for justice , and not ' just ' a place to punish people ? "
Remember the word of God :

"The Truth is from your Lord, therefore you should never include those who doubt." (Surah al-Baqarah / 2:147)

And also His words:

"O believers , be you man really upholders of justice, bearing witness for Allah , even against yourselves or your kin mother and father . if he [ the defendant or the defendant's ] rich or poor , Allah knows better kemaslahatannya . Do not follow your own desires and deviate from the truth . And if ye distort ( justice) or decline to do justice , verily Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do . " (Surat an- Nisa ' / 4 : 135 ) .

" Justice is a joint state . There will be a eternal power without upholding justice . If there is no law that is fair, then people would live in anarchy , does not have a backrest and handle . "

An expert wisdom said , " Justice was a ruler of the people must necessarily with four cases , namely by taking the easy road , leaving the hard way and complicate , distanced arbitrariness , and establish the truth in his behavior " .

" Enforcing justice must be absolute and thorough . Not because it causes something , it changes the function of justice . Do not be due to differences in position , class , and social circumstances that lead to the treatment of justice is not the same " .
